Live! Webmoney Gold Currency-1 WMG equals 1 gram of Gold

Some very exciting news from the Webmoney team…. Their new digital GOLD currency, WMGold, is now live. (WMG purse) .

All funds located in a WMG purse are 100% backed by gold bullion. The main agent I’m directed to is Metdeal.com and the price per gram (bid-ask) is posted on their web site. Or if your Russian is good, visit WebMoney exchanger wm.exchanger.ru. It will also soon be possible to buy gold using other authorized e-currency exchange services and the usual variety of payment methods.

Currency rates inside the Webmoney system will remain on the same exchange mode as they have always been. However, since the price of gold moves each day, the price of a WMGold unit will fluctuate. Transacting an exchange between existing Webmoney currency- WMZ, WME, WMR and others will also be on a floating rate, as the value national currency remains constant in their system and gold fluctuates.

To open a WMG purse, you will have to download the awesome new version of the Webmoney Keeper software which includes WMG. I’m setting it up now and should have some grams later today so we will definitely have more news and information later this week.

Webmoney registration is free and you can use the account immediately - so get started today. For existing WM-users: Download Keeper Classic Current version: 3.5.0.1 Sign in to Keeper Light

Exchange agents desiring to buy WMG need to become a MetDeal Partner, which requires some of the usual WM Passport verification paperwork and a new style contract. All Webmoney agents and business affiliates must complete some paperwork in order to transact business in WMG. Its always good to see a financial company clearly identifying who is offering their products.

Luckily for WMG agents Metdeal.com has only a $1,000 USD minimum purchase so a lot of both large and smaller agents will be participating.

For all of you readers wondering if delivery of your WMG can be arranged, Yes…from their web:

To get Gold , you need to to send a request to WM Metals FZE with a subject “Requesting Gold Delivery” and stipulate the following:

  1. Gold net weight you wish to obtain.

  2. WMID and G-Purse number.

  3. Preferable date of getting gold bullions.

Delivery Instructions together with the Invoice will be sent to you. Gold is issued in the United Arab Emirates in a form of gold bullions available to WM Metals FZE.

Metdeal FZE is a registered United Arab Emirates Company and licensed accordingly for the purchase and sale of precious metals (primarily gold). Metdeal FZE undertakes a required annual financial audit. Gold storage and transportation is carried out by licensed depositories as per international rules and standards. All operations are performed with gold bullion as per worldwide quality standards and purity of not less than 995.0 ( nine hundred ninety-five point zero).

Just in case you are wondering, the web site is available in English and Russian.

This is a remarkable product the Webmoney team has created. Using cash from hundreds of thousands of walk in locations worldwide you will be able to purchase digital gold.

Most Asian markets up; Tokyo lifted by gains in car, steel stocks

Most Asian markets rose Thursday, with Japanese stocks advancing as gains in shipping, steel, auto and consumer finance issues outweighed losses in power companies hurt by this week's strong earthquake.

Hong Kong edged up as traders bought blue chips, and Jakarta finished at a record high.

Japan's Nikkei 225 index rose 100.99 points, or 0.56 percent, to finish at 18,116.57 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The index got a boost in late trade on a report that consumer finance companies Promise Co. and Sanyo Shinpan Finance Co. are in talks to merge this year. The news sent the two companies' share prices soaring. Both issued statements denying any decision to merge had been reached.

Shipping and steel company stocks likewise posted gains. And auto shares climbed despite plans at Toyota Motor Corp. and other major manufacturers to temporarily halt domestic production due to damage at a key parts supplier from Monday's magnitude-6.8 quake.

Power company stocks fell on woes at Tokyo Electric Power Co., which has experienced a slew of problems at one of its nuclear plants due to the quake, including a fire and leaks of radioactive plants due to the quake, including a fire and leaks of radio active material into the ocean. TEPCO shares fell 5.55 percent.

Hong Kong shares edged higher Thursday as traders bought blue chips, shrugging off concerns that China may soon launch new tightening measures to contain its red-hot economy.

The Hang Seng Index rose 174.28 points, or 0.8 percent, to 23,016.20.

Conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa rose a sharp 4.1 percent, and its affiliate Cheung Kong surged 4.2 percent.

In other stocks, Hang Seng Bank rose 2.4 percent and fellow bank HSBC edged up 0.1 percent.

Traders weren't discouraged by worries that China may rein in its economy in light of new growth figures.

China's gross domestic product grew 11.9 percent in the April-June quarter compared to a year earlier, according to figures announced Thursday by China's National Bureau of Statistics. That was faster than the 11.1 percent gain in GDP in the first quarter.

BANGKOK: Thai shares pared intraday losses to end mildly lower. The main stock index dipped 0.3 percent to 847.26 points.

JAKARTA: Indonesia shares hit a fresh closing high on foreign buying in most blue chips amid hopes of strong first-half earnings. The main stock index jumped 1.7 percent to 2,333.68 points.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian shares moved up 0.5 percent to 1,376.40 points in moderate volume.

MANILA: Philippine shares slipped as investors cashed in gains to raise funds for ongoing public offerings. A wider-than-expected first-half budget deficit and higher oil prices also weighed on the market. The benchmark 30-company Philippine Stock Exchange Index dropped 31.89 points, or 0.85 percent, to 3,702.91.

MUMBAI: Indian shares rose 248.96 points, or 1.6 percent, to 15,550.13.

SEOUL: South Korean shares advanced as banks and LG Electronics rose on earnings momentum. Brokerage stocks gained on merger and acquisition speculation. The Korea Composite Stock Price Index, or Kospi, rose 7.2 points, or 0.4 percent, to 1,937.90.

Liberty Reserve - Interview with Mr. Joul Lee pt.2

(Q) Who would you consider to be your main competition and why?

There is no system quite like Liberty Reserve, which combines superior account privacy, excellent political jurisdiction, irrevocable payments, and state of the art security.

(Q) Are there any limits to how much money I can fund into a Liberty Reserve account? Are there any limits to the volume of transactions clients can perform?

There are no limits for regular accounts. However, because there are certain financial freedom restricting laws that passed or are contemplated in countries such as Australia and the United States, Liberty Reserve may, in some way, limit the volume, balance, or certain privileges (such as ability to gamble) of accounts of clients in those countries. Any such changes would, of course, be announced in advance, and at no time would Liberty Reserve freeze the value in any account for any reason except receipt of a legitimate court order.

(Q) Your information states that customer accounts all times 100% backed by U.S. dollars for LR-USD accounts and gold bullion for LR-gold accounts? Do you offer any audited balance information or do you have future plans to show monthly or quarterly how much is in the vault?

In the near future, Liberty Reserve will publish an independent accountant's report, verifying the aggregate value Liberty Reserve's assets held in trust for its customers, and matching that information to the total balances in Liberty Reserve accounts. This will occur without even the accountant knowing personal information in the accounts, only the balances.

(Q) How long has Liberty Reserve been a member of the GDCA and why do you feel that is important?

The Global Digital Currencies Association - www.gdcaonline.org - is the only industry watchdog that consists of voluntary members that agree to be bound by GDCA decisions during arbitration with customers and it allows customers to file complaints against members (and non-members for that matter). We are happy to say that we have no unresolved complaints at the GDCA.

(Q) I am now using Moneybookers and e-gold to accept client funds. Why should I try out or switch to Liberty Reserve?

Liberty Reserve is a true digital currency, completely outside of the United States and other countries that restrict personal financial freedom, including Liberty Reserve's servers. e-gold cannot say that, and we see, in recent events, where that led to. As for Moneybookers, they are not a true digital currency because they do not allow, like PayPal, the free exchange of their "currency" with other digital currencies, and, like PayPal, they freeze accounts without any court order. This I can tell you from my own experience and the experience of others. Liberty Reserve is also a long-time member of the Global Digital Currencies Association, an industry watchdog that ensures that customers do not get cheated and allows users to file complaints and request arbitration.

(Q) Do you maintain any sort of directory displaying Liberty Reserve businesses and helping to promote agents and companies which currently accept Liberty Reserve?

Liberty Reserve actively seeks to promote any legitimate merchant that accepts Liberty Reserve. We have a directory where merchants that bear our logo may request to be listed.

(Q) Where is the server located housing the Liberty Reserve web site.

There is more than one site for the Liberty Reserve servers. One place is in Europe, the other location is secret.

(Q) How do your account and transaction fees compare with the competition?

Liberty Reserve has a maximum transfer fee of 25 cents ($0.25). For funding and outexchanges, the fees are set by the independent exchange providers. Currently, though, even the 25 cent fee is waived, so all internal transfers are free.

(Q) Opening an account I know is free at Liberty Reserve. How much does it cost in fees to operate the account and transact business?

The best way to answer this question is to give an example. We have a customer, www.GoldStores.com, who agreed in advance to be mentioned here (and commensurate with our strategy to promote our merchants). They have been a Liberty Reserve client for years. They sell mostly electronics and other popular goods on the internet. They used to accept credit cards for a short while, which cost them about $500 per month based on their volume, plus another $1,000.00 or so in fraudulent charge-backs and other fees for a total of approximately $1,500.00 in monthly costs. After switching to digital currencies, including Liberty Reserve, their monthly costs amount to about $5.00, for a total cost savings of about $1,495.00 per month. As I understand it, they pass on these savings to their customers, offering discounts if customers pay via Liberty Reserve.

(Q) I see that you offer a type of transaction entitled, "Optional Anonymous Internal Payment". Is this option popular with users? Why do you feel that is important to customers?

This was a feature that was requested a few years ago by a few customers that wanted additional privacy. For example, if you pay someone for goods or services with other digital currencies your account number is displayed in the history of the recipient of the funds. Hackers or other malicious individuals will know your account number. Also, it is a good idea for making anonymous donations to charity. At Liberty Reserve, using the anonymous payment feature, your account number is not known to the recipient of the funds. We, at Liberty Reserve, are always looking for ways to meet the demands of clients to enhance their financial privacy and security.

(Q) I did not see a 'Liberty Reserve' debit card. Do you have any plans to offer such a product?

Liberty Reserve's business is making it the best, most secure, and trusted payment system in the world. That is our only goal and business model. We encourage exchangers and other companies to provide any collateral services that our clients may require, which creates many opportunities for Liberty Reserve merchants. It is a synergistic strategy.

(Q) For people reading this who want to earn money using the Internet, do you offer a paying referral program? If so, how do you pay the affiliates?

We offer one of the most competitive referral programs in the industry. Affiliates are paid instantly into their Liberty Reserve accounts. A two tier referral system is also in the works. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to answer your questions and inform your fine readers about Liberty Reserve. Joul Lee marketing(at)LibertyReserve.com

I'd like to thank Mr. Lee for taking time to fully answer all my questions.

Liberty Reserve - Interview with Mr. Joul Lee pt.1

Today I am interviewing Mr. Joul Lee the ‘Marketing Manager’ for Liberty Reserve Digital Currency.

Liberty Reserve is a 100% irrevocable payment system and digital currency. Liberty Reserve customer funds are protected by an offshore Trust, and at all times accounts are 100% backed by U.S. dollars for LR-USD accounts and gold bullion for LR-gold accounts and Euros for LR-Euro accounts. Customer privacy, security and absolute confidentiality are top priorities for the management and staff at Liberty Reserve. Incorporated in Costa Rica this organization is also a long time member of the Global Digital Currencies Association.

(Q) How long has has Liberty Reserve been in operation?

Liberty Reserve (LR) started as a private currency exchange system for import/export businesses that was later open to the pubic as it became more popular. It is functioning publicly since 2001.

(Q) Let’s pretend I’m a new customer asking about Liberty Reserve. I’m thinking of adding it to my 60 online retail sales web and giving you a lot of new business. Please list some reasons I should add Liberty Reserve to my business plan & convince me I should be doing business with Liberty Reserve.

Liberty Reserve is a one-stop, all inclusive, merchant facility where any online business, no matter in which country situated, can accept payments from anyone in the world. Liberty Reserve has exchange providers that accept deposits in Europe, Asia, United States, Australia, Central and Latin America, etc., and the number of agents is growing. LR also does not compete with exchangers by running its own exchange, unlike other digital currencies. This way, 100% of all volume passes via independent exchange providers who have no fear that LR will steal their clients. All this, plus our low rates and superior privacy and friendly jurisdiction is why Liberty Reserve is growing so fast already. It basically sells itself by word of mouth. Within a month, LR will add LR-Gold and LR-Euro.

(Q) Can I buy Liberty Reserve digital currency directly from your Company web?

Unlike other digital currencies that have gone out of business due to fraud and the like, we do not accept such risks. Liberty Reserve is a trust that holds assets for the benefit of the account holders. That is all that it does. In order to fund or outexchange value from a Liberty Reserve account, customers need to use an independent exchange provider.

(Q) In my opinion, the most important qualities which define a ‘digital currency’ are these three items (1) All transactions are final. (2) Can be bought or sold through a third party independent agent. (3) Can be exchanged for other digital currency also by an agent. Does LR meet these requirements?

Fortunately, Liberty Reserve is defined by the above three criteria, with an added benefit of extra security and privacy.

(Q) Does Liberty Reserve offer a Shopping Cart Interface (SCI) or some way for merchants to integrate your payment system into their retail web sites?

Yes. Liberty Reserve’s SCI and API are one of the most advanced in the industry. Both API and SCI offer all necessary notifications via e-mail and/or over secure protocol.

(Q) I see your web site provides SSL as do all other financial web sites but what other technical tools does Liberty Reserve offer to protect clients while accessing their accounts?

After two years of development and vigorous tests, most of advanced security features of new Liberty Reserve are well integrated into our system on the programming level, and can not be disclosed for obvious reasons. Among a few that we can mention are: third generation dual login system, advanced geographical region identification, IP and browser lock, personal welcome message, and many more. Feel free to visit our web site for more information.

(Q) Does Liberty Reserve allow HYIP type ‘investments’ or auto surf programs?

Liberty Reserve does not “allow” any activity that is illegal in the users’ own location. However, it is impractical to monitor every account for signs of trouble (not to mention illegal in some countries and unethical and costly). Liberty Reserve management will never become judge and jury over what accounts are good and what accounts are bad. We respond only to legitimate court orders or where we have direct knowledge of activity that is illegal in Costa Rica or that is in violation of Liberty Reserve’s terms of service.

That is not to say that Liberty Reserve does not do anything to warn its users, before they open an account, about the dangers and/or pitfalls on the internet. To wit, we display this excerpt from our terms of service in BOLD for everyone wishing to open an account:

“2.4.3 User understands and acknowledges that user is aware that Liberty Reserve spends are irrevocable and that user agrees to follow the policy of buyer beware (”Caveat Emptor”) when using Liberty Reserve at various merchant sites, especially merchants such as gaming or gambling or “HYIP” and other types of investment or chance games or matrixes or Ponzis (pyramid schemes), which are identifiable by their promises of extremely high (more than 1% per day) rates of return, and that should user still wish to deal with such merchants that it is at user’s own risk.”

(Q) Do you have an Anti Money Laundering policy and do you actively work to prevent the use of your digital currency for illegal operations?

Liberty Reserve posts its rules and procedures in its Terms of Service. We comply with legitimate law enforcement requests for information (we do not comply with fishing expeditions, where some foreign government agency may ask for a list of accounts or other information without stating a specific reason and court order). We comply with the laws of Costa Rica.

(Q) How many independent agents currently transact in Liberty Reserve? Can I use a credit card to buy Liberty Reserve from any of these agents?

There are currently many agents that buy and sell Liberty Reserve, and I know that at least one of them accepts credit cards.

(Q) How do you keep Liberty Reserve client information private and protected?

All information collected by Liberty Reserve is encrypted and can not be decrypted without unique keys located on separate servers. In a very unlikely event, when even our server gets physically stolen, the information is useless without unique encryption algorithms and keys, which are located off site.

To Be Continued….

SECRET SERVICE MIAMI FIELD OFFICE

(Miami, FL) – The United States Secret Service today announced the recent arrests and indictments of four members of an organized fraud ring in South Florida. In all, the individuals – identified as Miguel Alegria, 46, of Hialeah, FL; Raynier Pupo, 22, of Miami, FL; Ariel Montero, 32, of Aventura, Florida; and Javier Padron-Bravo, 35, of Aventura, FL – have been charged with aggravated identity theft, counterfeit credit card trafficking and conspiracy.

In a coordinated operation between the U.S. Secret Service’s Miami and Nashville Field Offices earlier this year, Miami Electronic Crimes Task Force agents arrested Julio Lopez, age 30, and Lopez’s girlfriend Anett Villar, age 26, both of Hialeah, FL, after receiving warrants for their arrests from the Nashville Field Office in an online carding investigation. Julio Lopez had used the screen name "Blinky" and had been identified as trafficking counterfeit credit cards and identifications for years over the Internet.

As a result of the initial investigation targeting Lopez (aka "Blinky"), evidence was discovered of an organized fraud ring of Cuban nationals, which included Alegria, Pupo, Montero and Padron-Bravo, operating in South Florida. These individuals were sending large amounts of money via E-Gold accounts to known cyber criminals in Eastern Europe in return for tens of thousands of stolen credit card account numbers. The stolen credit card account numbers were then used to counterfeit credit cards in “plants” throughout southern Florida.

As a result of these arrests, more than 200,000 credit card account numbers were recovered in connection with the ring’s activity, which was responsible for fraud losses of more than $75 million. Additionally, agents seized two pick-up trucks, $10,000 cash and one handgun in connection with the case.

“This case demonstrates the potential for online criminals to inflict significant damage on a global scale, but this investigation and the resulting indictments and arrests should serve as stark reminders to cyber criminals that law enforcement will continue to pursue them wherever they are,” said Special Agent in Charge William Sims of the U.S. Secret Service’s Miami Field Office.

This investigation is just one example of the U.S. Secret Service’s cyber-initiatives to combat financial fraud and identity theft. These initiatives are designed to disrupt activity on criminal web forums, where the suspects openly engage in the sale of stolen and compromised credit card information, false identity documents and malicious software that enables criminals to obtain access to victims’ computers.

The U.S. Secret Service has taken a lead role in cyber crime investigations and, through a nationwide network of Electronic Crimes Task Forces, has established partnerships in both the law enforcement and business communities to protect the nation’s critical financial infrastructure.

Technorati Profile

60 e-gold Exchange Agents, Who’s Still Alive? You Might Be Surprised

Back in May, I wrote an article “Who’s Still Alive? 20 E-gold Agent Profiles“. This piece can be considered a follow up to that post.

One angle I’d like to explore, is just how much of e-gold’s business ‘jumped ship’ when they hit the wall. Are they fading away into the distant sunset? One way to calibrate their market acceptance might be to take a close look at who, if anyone, is still acting as an exchange agent for e-gold digital currency.

Are there any exchange providers that still accept e-gold or did the government’s indictment act as a deterrent to their daily business? Ron O’Brien, a senior security analyst at Sophos said in an interview, “But we’ll have to see if [this indictment] serves as a deterrent.” *

Well, open your peepers and let’s take a look.

E-gold exchange providers around the globe, with the exception of about ten, are all still actively providing exchange service for their clients. Even some of the larger agents which had their e-gold funds seized by the government, have just opened new e-gold accounts and are doing business today.

“In Doug We Trust” Who is still exchanging e-gold?

London Gold Exchange - Still strong! Debbie from LGE just confirmed with me inexchange (buy) for just 4% and outexchange (sell) fees are showing on their web as the low price of just 5%. What can I say about LGE that their web does not already tell us:

“In six years the London Gold Exchange has evolved into the Digital Gold and Silver provider of choice for thousands of happy customer’s world wide. Strategically placed with offices around the world, we are ideally positioned to enhance our reputation as the No.1 Digital Gold and Silver provider.”

Ice Gold - Alive but moving a bit slower today. They are accepting e-gold outexchange (selling) but its on a limited basis as they need it. “…we have set a limit of 10,000 USD (or equivalent) per customer in one day.” You can also buy e-gold from them for a 2% fee. International bank wires or local Estonia wire transfers are accepted. If you speak German, you can read the recent interview Paul Vahur gave to a liberty.li magazine regarding e-gold and the US actions.

AnyGoldNow - From their web, they appear to be alive and kicking. I just visited and their forms are working to process in and outexchanges. I will assume that means they are still active in the e-gold business. Their web shows, to buy e-gold, you will only pay between 1.25% and 2%. If you would like to sell, your outexchange fees will be 4%-7%. That is not too bad for Patrick’s quality service. AnyGoldNow features same day exchanges and trades e-gold, e-Bullion, Pecunix, C-gold & Phoenix Silver. Here is a new c-gold agent!

EuroGoldSales - Still exchanging e-gold. Like other agents, their rates vary. Sell them e-gold today you would be paying 6% in fees

GoldNow - Still operating at 100%. Graham reports that orders are strong. GoldNow also accepts credit cards and is offers GoldNowBanc GoldGrams and Loom Gold. e-gold exchange rates seem constant at 5%.

EuroGoldFrance - No big e-gold changes here either– today, just as before the indictment, users can buy & sell e-gold en Francais. Great service and competitive rates (sell to them at 4%-7%).

EuroGoldExchanges - e-gold for Non-US customers ONLY. Also available e-Bullion, c-gold and Pecunix. The French language version is also available at EuroGoldEchangers.com

e-ForexGold - Still strong with e-gold exchanges. Inexchange orders of $5000 usd and less will cost you 3% over spot price. When selling to them, they are only charging approximately 4-4.5% on the sell, this also depends on how much your order actually is….for $50k+ its just 2.5% e-ForexGold also offers a handy ATM debit card which works for fast e-gold outexchanges.

Cambist.net - Their web site appears to still be accepting both in and outexchange e-gold digital currency orders. Wire transfer only. Their buy fees are extremely low between 2% and 3% for any amount large or small. On an outexchange, they are charging fees of 20%. Yes, sell e-gold to Cambist.net and receive national currency of just $8 for every $10 you spend, but that’s what they are now calling ‘business risk’. Technically, with gold bars in the vault backing each digital dollar, there is no big risk to own e-gold.

OmniPay/OmniPay Africa - Not operating yet. We are still awaiting more information about a business arrangement with OmniPay Africa. No further information is available. I’d like to wish them the best, and a speedy recovery from this headache. Through the rumor mill, we hear that if you were doing business with OmniPay (US) as an exchange agent, you may be getting some forms in the mail soon regarding MSB regulations. (of course that is just a rumor)

Me-gold.com - Still alive and doing great business. Their web quotes e-gold exchange rates that are a bit higher than the norm, however I assume that is attempting to compensating for business risk. Buy, sell or exchange e-gold at Me-gold. This group, who’s company is operating out of Dubai, provides excellent and fast service. They also exchange: Webmoney, Pecunix, e-Bullion, Liberty Reserve and I also see PayPal on their web page. Sell e-gold to them today for an international bank wire or a Western Union payment. Buy e-gold for about 2% over spot, sell e-gold and you will rack up a fee of between 15 and 20% on the way out.

AutoCambist - Being billed as the largest and most reputable automated exchanger in the world has its advantages and they will gladly exchange e-gold on your behalf.

PaysGold - Buy or sell e-gold here, no problem. Inexchange at 2% but outexchange is currently 20%. Located in Jinan City, China, they also offer an awesome pre-paid UNIONPAY ATM card solution that works for ATM withdrawals in around two dozen countries around the globe. That card is just $25 in e-gold or Pecunix.

GoldEx - Yes they are transacting in e-gold. There is just a 6% fee on outexchange (selling) of e-gold. To buy from GoldEx they are asking for around 3.5%. Note that their web site lists Credit Card’s as a method of payment when making an inexchange, that fee is a bit higher at 15%, not sure if they are still accepting CC’s or not. GoldEx also is one of the few DGC businesses that still offers a US based ATM card for outexchange to ATM cash. Its on the Visa Plus network and will cost you $50. Their web site seems a bit out of date also so please write me if I have it wrong.

AsianaGold.com - Cash to e-gold, no problem for Asian customers. Buy e-gold at spot plus 5%, sell e-gold at a cost of 20%. Selling $1000, receive $800, no bargain there but again….business risk! Also exchanges Liberty Reserve.

Nanaimogold - Buy and Sell e-gold for a low 4% rate. Also exchanges Pecunix, e-gold, e-Bullion, e-dinar, Liberty Reserve, WebMoney and even c-gold.

TheGoldShop.biz - Still strong and accepting cash deposits in Malaysia, India, Singapore, the Philippines and Canada. Buy e-gold from them today and pay just 4% over spot. If you are selling e-gold to them, “…please expect delays of at least 8 business days in processing of EGOLD SELL ORDERS as well as higher than normal exchange fees”

ElectrumX - Yes, alive and well. In fact from their web today, “**We Need Egold**” They also accept credit cards for inexchange.

Vertoro - Quality e-gold inexchange provider.

Xgold.ca - Mr. Sylvain Falardeau from Xgold.ca who did a great interview earlier this year, will be happy to exchange e-gold for you. He will buy for 5% and sell to you at 1.5%

ROBOXchange - Yes, still transacting in e-gold.

GetEMoney - Still is operation and offering competitive rates. Inexchange (buy) from them at a cost of about 2.5%. Outexchange (sell) to them for an approximate fee of 6.3%.

MegaExchange.ru - Russian language automatic exchange web business. Accepts e-gold for exchange.

Better-X-Changers - Up and running in Canada providing a wide range of payment options including: Local and International Bank Wire, Bank Draft or Money Order, Postal Money Order, Company Check, Bank Cash Deposit, Email Money Transfer (EMT), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Western Union, MoneyGram and PayPal. Sell e-gold for about 11%, inexchange or buy from them at 4.5%

Fidex Group (e-fidex) - While there web seems to be accepting both e-gold in and outexchanges, no confirmation on if that is the case. They were never ones to keep their web ’space’ constantly updated so I’m just not sure if they are still buying e-gold or not. It appears yes. Please visit their web and give me your impression as I have not heard back from them.

JrExchange - Located in Singapore with customer worldwide, this operation is glad to accept your e-gold exchanges. Their rates will depend on the client’s location and membership standing and the fees can range from 1% - 15%.

Incremental Gold - Yes, they still buy, sell and even exchange e-gold. Sell e-gold at a cost of 6% and purchase e-gold (inexchange). Buy e-gold with a wire or Western Union for 3-5%. From their web, “Please note that we operate with e-gold (sell and buy) but each outexchange takes 4-10 business days to process.”

Exchange.lv - Online exchange accepting e-gold no problem.

All Business Gold - Appears to be up and running with no ‘warnings’ posted. Rates show on their web site as 5% - 17%.

E Buy Gold - You can currently buy e-gold from this Hong Kong agent, however they are not accepting sell orders.

Bank2Gold - Exchange provider in Singapore. Buy or sell e-gold here.

Wyngold - Buy or Sell e-gold no problems here. Singapore’s first 24/7 e-gold exchanger.

Evogates - Buy or Sell e-gold. Agent located in Malaysia.

Goldarea.net - Web site appears to be in business. Buy or Sell e-gold here.

ePayNigeria.com - Open for business, both buy and selling of e-gold.

GoldNairaExchange - Buy and Sell e-gold, “…that e-gold funding henceforth will be completed within 2 - 5 business days.”

Ecurrenz - Here you can swap e-gold for Linden Dollars from Second Life. E-gold accepted here no problem.

GoldAge Israel - Israel’s first e-gold exchange agent.

GoldKOBO - This is an exchange provider for Nigerian residents only and it appears to be operating just fine. Buy and sell e-gold here.

Aegold - Reported by their web site to be accepting credit cards.

PinoyGoldExchange - Accepting buys and sells of e-gold in the Philippines. Some limits on transactions, “Std BUY e-gold maximum is currently set to $50. *Select Premium Service if e-gold to be ordered is above the maximum daily limit. *Std SELL e-gold maximum is currently set to $2000. SELL Orders will be completed in 1-5 business days. ”

SuperChange.ru - Automatic e-gold exchange

Wannagold - Buy/Sell e-gold thru SMS, Call and YM Chat

Klad.ee - If you can handle their 20% exchange rate, this might be the agent in Estonia you have been looking for…!

Avantumgold - Credit cards accepted among other methods for the exchange of e-gold. Inexchange fees of 6% - 22%. Outexchange (sell your e-gold) as reported by their web site 2% - 5% of a fee.

ExchangeGoldNow - Buy or sell e-gold here.

ExchangesPlus - Buy or sell e-gold here.

United States Electronic Currency Exchange - Buy or sell e-gold at rates ranging from 2.99% - 5.99%

Gold-Thrift - They are still alive and in the exchange business. Fine print….Sell them e-gold when they are accepting it your fee will be just 4%. Buy e-gold with a wire transfer and I believe you will also be paying about 4% over spot but I’m not really sure because they have the worst designed web in the history of the Internet. I half expected a little cartoon man to come walking out shouting “buy gold” when I arrived at their forwarded domain. Be that as it may, it has been about two weeks since they posted news regarding their desire to purchase customer e-gold, “…07.13.07. e-gold out exchanges are suspended due to overstock. We will resume buying e-gold in a few days when we need more.” Like I said, bottom line they are still exchanging which is good news.

JTGold - Exchanger for e-gold in Malaysia

Zones Web Soluition - (India)

Exchengine - e-gold exchange for all. Buy and sell “…for residents and legal entities registered in Russia, to Russian banks only”.

FastGold.net - Their web site is still online but they are not exchanging anything.

DenverGoldExchange - There nicely designed web is gone and we can only find a white screen with their email address and reading, “Denver Gold Exchange Under Construction”. Their account was one seized by the government’s action so its not clear if they will return or not.

TheBullionExchange - Not currently transacting any business, but not gone either. Their bank account(s) got seized by the government’s actions, I think its now held pending a civil matter relating to their current complaint. You’ll have to check their web for details but its obvious they are optimistic and looking to straighten out this issue:

The allegations contained in the complaint, contend, inter alia, that The Bullion Exchange failed to register, or secure a license to act as a money transmitter (in violation of 31 C.F.R. Section 103.11(uu)(5)(1)); additionally, the complaint contends that The Bullion Exchange failed to obtain a business license in the State of Delaware, violating 5 Del. Code Section 2303. The Bullion Exchange vehemently denies the allegations and has challenged all of the accusations contained in the civil complaint.

Pay By Gold - No word from their camp. The Paybygold web site is so many years out of date, it still has evocash and INTgold listed and those companies have been out of business for years. I’m not sure if Pay By Gold is even still operating or if that is just a dead web site.

Centregold - No e-gold exchanges.

GoldTotem - e-gold exchange operations seem to be on hold right now. Their web is showing this statement: “We are currently working on our software. Only the clients contacted by email can use this page for the purchase of e-currencies. We apologize for this inconvenience for any new visitor, we cannot fulfill their order during this period.”

Gold Age Agent closed but now the domain is a busy e-currency discussion forum.

GoldPouch Express - While still listed on the e-gold website links page, they are not exchanging e-gold. Their stated reason, “Due to an ongoing investigations between E-Gold.com and the Department of Justice we regret to inform you that we won’t be buying, selling or trading “GOLD” from E-Gold.com at this time!

Agronex Financial - http://www.agronex.lv Web Site Is Gone

Gold-Cash.biz - http://www.gold-cash.biz Web Site Is Gone

SpaceGold - http://www.spacegold.com Web Site Is Gone

Gitgold - http://www.gitgold.com Web Site Is Gone

While I am sure there are dozens of other agents not listed here but still operating today, this sample represents a very good cross section of all larger operations. E-gold exchange agents are looking very strong right now. The rates have changed to fit the market and the methods of payment accepted have narrowed, but a very healthy third party independent exchange market is still operating today.

There is an old industry saying which goes like this, “In Gold We Trust”. However, months after the government announced this criminal case against e-gold, that old jingle seems to have changed……some are now writing it as, “In Doug We Trust”.

11 Ways That Google Detects Invalid Clicks

We always hear that Google has a sophisticated system to detect the invalid clicks, and result in termination of the cheaters’ account. But, how can Google do that? In this post, I summarize those ways that Google depends on to detect whether the clicks on your site are invalid or not. Google will not first ban your account immediately. Rather, they will first flag your account and Google will keep a closer eye to your account. In some occasion, they may send you a warning letter to notify your situation; but sometimes not.

1. IP Address

It is the easist and must be recognized by everyone. If those clicks on your ads are originated from the same IP Address as the one used for accessing your AdSense account, your account is flagged.

2. Click Through Rate (CTR)

Normally, Click thru Rate should not excees 10%. Otherwise, Google will flag your account. For your information, normal CTR should ranges from 0.5% - 10%.

3. Physical Location

Google has good tracing software and technology. They can trace traffics origin down to the small town. So, using different computers with different IP address does not secure anything. So, don’t try to click your ads in various internet cafes. That will kill you.

4. Cookies

Most home users do not use static IP Address for Internet connection. In most cases just disconnect and reconnect will give you a new IP Address. But don’t forget, Google has set cookies on your computer. They can trace these cookies and see whether they originate from the same computer.

5. Click Pattern 1

It is also suspicious when people click on their clicks and then run away immediately (hit-and-run). But normally, people will surf for a while inside your pages and then click on the ads they want.

6. Click Pattern 2

why this computer / IP address / person is so trigger-click-happy on this particular website but never click on the ads on other sites?

7. Click Pattern 3

And why is it that people accessing these sites direct (type-in URL or from bookmark) tend to be very active ad-clickers compared with those referred from search engine or other sites?

8.Other Google Services

Apart from Google Adsense, Google also provide a series of services to us. Don’t just think that it is safe if you do not log in your adsense account and click on your ads. What other Google services do they provide to us? Here are some: Gmail (most poeple are using it), Google Earth, Google Calendar, Google Search, Google Toolbar, Google Talk, Google Sitemap, Google Desktop, Blogger, or even Youtube (coz Google has just recently acquired it).

9. Search Engine Ranking
Your website is not indexed on any search engine, not linked by any prominent website, but get consistently high traffic? How come people can access your website and click your ads? That will make Google to smell a rat.

10. Webpage design
How about the “Please click a link below” or “donate us by clicking the ads”? These kinds of encouragement is not in line with Google’s TOS. Google can use their winning search engine, or even human eyes to check your sites from time to time.

11. Advertisers conversion rate

Ad click is one thing. But does it bring value to the advertisers? If none of the clicks on your site translate to conversion to the advertiser, you are in trouble. First the Smart-Pricing hits, then your AdSense account disabled.

Opportunities Of Success In HYIP

Yes, HYIP promises very high return on investment but also very high risk. What must we do? Invest or not invest? You may not believe me but it is possible to get the yields. But how? In the today’s article I discuss all opportunities to get success from High Yield Investment Programs.

HYIP have gained a notoriety that some other elements can only envy. This reputation has dissuaded serious investors from even regarding them and encouraged the shadier elements of the financial district to set up shop using such. Actually, it is quite a pity since HYIP, when legit, can actually be a very valuable tool in generating personal wealth. If you are smart and discerning you will find wonderful opportunities to increase your investment by a sizeable margin.

Certainly, you may not think that all HYIP is just great scam. Though the risk is high, there are actually programs that have been used for years and have been able to give success to investors. In other words, you can look around and find legitimate high yield projects that are not only legitimate but wonderfully productive as well. Any HYIP investor knows the following rules by heart:

When looking for a HYIP that will lead you to success in your quest for personal wealth, look always towards the programs that emphasize transparency. You will want to know how the program develops and what you can expect in return. You will also want a tangible contact. A tangible contact means you can actually talk to the person on the phone or through email.

If a HYIP is promising too much, let’s say an 80% return on investment, you have to be wary. Although HYIPs generally give a higher than normal return rate, ROIs that make your eyes pop out are signs to look out for in a bogus enterprise. If they can promise really good rates, then make sure they explain how they can get to that amount. If that is not the case, run for it; the enterprise is probably bogus.

If you are trying an HYIP, then make sure you start small. This way you get to test the waters for stability, legitimacy and other factors as well. If you can check with Better Business Bureaus then that would be an added security on your part and is always good practice when investing in anything.

These rules above tell about the first steps to get high returns on investment successfully. Another very important and wonderful concept to get success from any high yield program is a Test Spend. But what is a Test Spend? Test spend can be explained as a small principal deposit made in a new HYIP to ascertain its viability.

What is its importance? Test spend is a very useful method to determine whether any HYIP is good or not. Whenever you come across any new HYIP then the first deposit should be a test deposit to see how the HYIP is working and deduce a conclusion about it. Since a HYIP is new, you probably do not know whether it is a paying or a scam programme.

So making a test spend can tell you the reality of the HYIP. If the HYIP is genuine then you will most probably get all the promised interests and customer service with the test spends. If all goes right then you can move further to making your real investment and reap the products. This step of making test spend assures that the program is paying at the current time.

And if the HYIP is a scam then you will not get your returns. So do not make any further investments. Thus you are also prevented from being scammed of a larger amount (the larger amount you had initially planned to invest in this particular HYIP).

What to expect from a test spend? Basically if the HYIP is genuine then you must expect 100% customer support, total interest returns, and any other facilities that the particular HYIP may promise to its investors.

If the HYIP payment system is automatic you must get your returns without requesting for it. If the payment is manual, then once or also more times request for your interest and see if the payment is actually being made. Many times the payment is not made at all (in both automatic and manual methods).

It is best to avoid further investing in it. In some cases the HYIP may declare that it is not able to make payments due to some genuine problems and would soon resume payments. Most of the cases such HYIPs make false claims about not being able to make payments due to some reason but still continue receiving investments and then scam away! So you must not invest more till you are fully sure that the HYIP has started paying regularly.

Where can we use a test spend? It is usually advised that you make test spends only on HYIPs in which you intend to make large investments (say more than 100$).
The test spend should be always minimum. Thus invest only that much amount which can be accepted according to the particular HYIP policies on minimum investment.

In the conclusion, it cannot be said that all HYIPs are not legit. It is only saying that there are many that define the name of HYIP. However, if you do look with discernment and perseverance, you are bound to find a jewel in the rough that will lead you all the way to wealth and success.

Hyip Tips as Your Investment Guideline

Hyip investment is a very risky field. You need to arm yourself with a good knowledge before jump on a hyip program. I find a very good hyip tips on a thread at a hyip forum. I will post it the tips here so you can also use it for your investment guideline. I will post the articles un-edited to respect the original author, I will also include the original site link posted along with the article. Article source will be placed under the article. I hope this good tips will be useful for you.

HYIP Land is a very harsh place, and investing in HYIPs is like walking in a pair of shoes filled with kernels. You have to thread very carefully, or you'll end up full of painful blisters. Here are a few guidelines that will help you cushion your steps alongthe journey

1. Do your own research before investing in any program. If you can't doyour own Due Diligence, do a thorough review of the DD done by others.

2. Don't get emotionally blinded by any administrator. Always apply thesame cautionary measures even if you believe an administrator is honest.

3. Recover your seed money as early as you can.

4. Do not compound believing that you can amass bucket loads of moneyfrom any given program. It most likely will never happen.

5. Make frequent withdrawals of at least a portion of your profits.Profit in your pocket will always make you a happy camper.

6. Never believe that transparency makes a program so safe as to throwcaution out the window. Even honest people do stupid things. Always beon the alert.

7. Diversify! Diversify! Diversify!., but do it wisely. Do not overextend yourportfolio in only one type of investment.

8. Develop immunity against cheerleaders. Their irrational pompomswirling chants can lure you in just like the songs of the mythicalSirens did.

9. The naysayers are more asserting in their assessment of a program, but do not let them stop you from exploring a program.

10. View everything with a good dose of scepticisms, and a critical mind.If something seems odd, be careful. If your gut feeling is sending you alarmsignals, pay attention to them. It's better to withdraw early from a program, even if everything seems to be going smoothly, than to be left hanging whenthings change abruptly for the worse.

11. Never feel rushed to join any program just because everyone is giving itrave reviews. There'll always be other programs waiting around the corner.

12. Don't keep all your money in, or invest from only one payment processor. They too can collapse at any time.

13. If you're transferring a large sum of money offline, split it among morethan one exchanger. Anything can happen online at anytime, andwithout warning. It's better to get half your money, than none at all.

14. Have fun, and enjoy each ride for as long as it lasts.
